Our mission Our mission

Our history

At the birth of their first daughter, Céline & Gabriel made a double observation: all the diapers were made of plastics from petrochemicals, and the compositions were very unclear. They want to revolutionize the world of hygiene by offering ecological and healthy products for babies and the planet, in complete transparency. Love & Green was born in 2011! Since then, the range has been enriched with certified organic wipes and treatments, as well as a range of menstrual products without controversial substances, and composed with ever more materials of natural origin.

A committed company

We are a French family SME of 35 women & men very committed and motivated in the same fights. We campaign daily to offer more natural alternatives for hygiene products to limit our impact on the environment while taking care of the health of our consumers. But the adventure doesn't stop there! Our goal is to go further and further by finding ever healthier and more natural alternatives. Investment in Research and Development is essential for Love & Green: it is thanks to innovations that we are taking the path of the compostable layer. And yes, at Love & Green we believe in it (and we will succeed!). Labeled PME+ since 2020, we are committed to going further in our CSR commitments. This is why in 2022 we officially become a “Mission Company”. A strong act, which publicly reinforces our societal and environmental commitments.

Our mission

The mission stated in our statutes: since its creation in 2011, Love and Green has been committed to designing efficient and healthy products for the family and for the planet, by reducing petrochemical plastic as much as possible and banning controversial substances. Boldly determined, we want to revolutionize the world of hygiene, as well as all our future development markets, by shaking up established ideas in order to campaign for natural compositions in complete transparency, without compromise between effectiveness, naturalness, traceability, and environmental impact . To do this, we aim to work to reinvent practices & methods with our ecosystem, to promote responsible and transparent approaches from all stakeholders towards the consumers of today and tomorrow.

A company with a mission

What is this ? A new legal status, framed by the PACTE law of May 2019, which allows companies that wish to officially set societal and environmental objectives in addition to their economic objectives. It is a strong public and legal commitment, which implies that the company is committed to providing a positive solution in the collective interest. All of this is audited regularly by an independent, accredited third-party organization.

For Green Family, what does this mean?

After in-depth work on our CSR orientations and strategy, we carried out a major consultation. We interviewed our main direct stakeholders: our employees, our shareholders, customers, suppliers, our associative partners, as well as CSR experts, in particular the community of mission-driven companies. This allowed us to refine the formalization of our purpose as well as our objectives in order to be able to deploy it and bring it to life.

🥇 Design with our suppliers effective, healthy products, composed as much as possible of materials of natural origin.

🌿 Make the “measure, limit, reduce” approach a standard for our productions, based on robust and recognized methods.

🙌 Support our consumers towards informed and responsible consumption.

💡 Cultivate the spirit of initiative of our employees and our suppliers to rethink uses through innovation.

🤝 Advocate for clarity of compositions and the promotion of responsible products with institutions and players in the sector.

And now ?

Since 2022, we have integrated an internal mission manager who is responsible for structuring, deploying and promoting our mission. We have also decided to have an external referent to challenge us and always go further in our model. We have also clarified and refined our statutory objectives allowing us to have relevant operational objectives.

In 2024 we had our first regulatory audit carried out by the Independent Third Party Organization Le Cabinet de Saint-Front. After studying all the coherence, relevance and level of ambition of our mission model, it gave us its conclusions, which we presented to all our governance and which you can find in our first mission report: the results are very positive because all our statutory objectives are valid!
